Hal Sheeler is a former music educator who taught with the Department of Defense Dependents Schools in Europe and at Lebanon, NH High School. He was raised in the upstate New York town of Granville and has degrees in music education from the Crane School of Music of SUNY Potsdam. His daughter, Jodi Sheeler Sherman was born in Livorno, Italy and son Derek Sheeler in Munich, Germany. Hal and his wife, Nancy, live in Lebanon, NH, a community they love. Years ago, Hal was a counselor at Camp Passumpsic on Lake Fairlee. He has very fond memories of that experience and is thrilled to be able to have a home in the Upper Connecticut River Valley area. In addition to his full-time work as a Vermont and New Hampshire REALTOR, Hal remains involved in music as director of Bel Canto Chamber Singers, Music Director for many North Country Community Theatre productions, vocal soloist, and clarinet player. Hal continues to be a travel enthusiast, visiting China, Vietnam, Turkey, Thailand and Germany in recent years.
